6 Junior High School Students Suspected Of Youth Slaughter In Sukabumi Arrested By Police
SUKABUMI - The Sukaraja Police Team, Sukabumi, West Java, arrested six junior high school students for allegedly being the perpetrators of assault and stabbing a young man with the initials FH (18) in Cimuncang Village.
"Alhamdulillah, in less than 24 hours we caught the perpetrators of the stabbing, it turns out that the suspects are minors who are still in junior high school," said Sukaraja Police Chief AKBP Supardi, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 7.
According to Supardi, his party received a report of a molestation case on Jalan Raya Cimuncang and immediately moved to the location of the incident.
From the results of the investigation and statements from witnesses, the alleged perpetrator is a junior high school student. From this information, his party immediately gave chase and managed to catch the perpetrators with the initials AA (15), SI (16), NH (16), FN (15), MAS (15) and RT (16).
All suspects were arrested in their respective homes. However, because the alleged perpetrators are still underage, his party is coordinating with the correctional center (Bapas) regarding the handling of this case.
The stabbing by the junior high school students started with a brawl with students from other schools in the Sukaraja sub-district.
Then there was one of the perpetrators carrying a sharp weapon type celurit who then slashed the victim so that he suffered injuries to the back and right hand.
"The main perpetrator slashed his sickle twice to the victim and then five of his colleagues helped to beat him so that the victim suffered serious injuries and had to undergo intensive treatment at the Hermina Hospital," he added.
Supardi said that apart from arresting the alleged perpetrator, his party also confiscated a sickle that was used to persecute the victim. His party is still developing this case and does not rule out other suspects if other evidence is found.
