Sleman Police Hunt 4 Teenagers Who Just Graduated From School
JAKARTA - The Sleman Police, Yogyakarta, is hunting for street criminals suspected of slashing four teenagers on Monday (6/6) afternoon, around 15.30 WIB, in Pandowoharjo, Sleman District.
"We received information from the Sleman Police Chief regarding the street crime incident and we immediately conducted an investigation to track down the perpetrator," said Sleman Police Chief AKBP Achmad Imam Rifai in Sleman, Tuesday, June 7, quoted from Antara.
The street crime happened to four teenagers, each with the initials G, a resident of Tridadi, Sleman, A and P, both residents of Tempel and G, a resident of Godean.
The victims were hacked by a group of people while eating meatballs on the side of the road.
The Head of the Sleman Police said that the temporary information received was that the incident was a brawl between teenagers because the information was that the victim knew the group of perpetrators.
"However, we are still investigating the motive. Did they meet by appointment and then provoke each other or something else," he said.
He said the street crime case would still be processed accordingly according to the applicable law.
"We will carry out an investigation, an investigation, and hold the parties responsible accountable," he said.
Imam ensured that the abuse case would be handled by the police and followed up with a legal process.
The head of Pisangan Hamlet, Pandowoharjo Village, Yamtono, who at the time of the incident took the victim to the hospital, said the stabbing incident occurred on Monday (6/6) afternoon, around 15.30 WIB.
"The exact location is in Pandowoharjo, but close to Pisangan Village, Tridadi Village," he said.
So four teenagers who were victims of stabbings had just joined the school graduation parade and were planning to go home. But because it was raining, they stopped by to buy meatballs on the side of the road.
"While they were eating meatballs, from the south there was a group of teenagers carrying sharp weapons and suddenly slashed them with swords and bottles. The information I received was like that," he said.
Yamtono, whose house is not far from the scene of the incident, immediately went to the location after receiving a call from the community with a car that was planned to take the victims to the hospital.
"But it turns out that there are cars belonging to local residents who will take the victims to the hospital," he said.
Yamtono finally took him to the Sleman Hospital as a family representative because one of the victims who was hacked was a resident.
"In that incident there were four victims who were stabbed, three people suffered stab wounds in the back. While one other person had a small stab wound in the arm," he said.
He said after receiving medical treatment at the Sleman Hospital, three people were allowed to go home for outpatient treatment, while another person with the initials A from Tempel had to be hospitalized because his injuries were quite serious.
