Paul McCartney Announces New McCartney III Album
JAKARTA - Forty years have passed since the release of McCartney II, singer Paul McCartney announced his latest album titled McCartney III.
On October 19, the Beatles frontman released several teasers on Instagram, namely three cubic dice and a rose.
Launching his official statement, McCartney worked on the entire album content when he was undergoing a lockdown with his family in Sussex.
“I did a little music for the film and it turned into the opening track then when it was done I thought what would I do? I have some material that has been worked on over the years but sometimes it is only half done. "
Finally he decided to start recording with all the material he left behind. "I didn't think this would be an album," he said further.
"It's about making music for yourself rather than making music as a job," he said.
McCartney's first part recognized Paul McCartney as his comeback after the Beatles broke up. McCartney II shows his solo side after being busy with the group Wings.
The McCartney III album will present a journey of him looking back on his career to the past few years. The album will be released starting December 11th physically and digitally.
