Having To Learn Archery, Omar Daniel Is Nervous To Appear In Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca

JAKARTA - For the first time appearing in an action film, Omar Daniel admitted that he was nervous about the final result of the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca. In this film, Omar plays Danan as well as Arjuna who is good at archery.

"After waiting for two years, it's finally aired. It's a joy, it's a matter of pride, but to be honest, we're really nervous. I hope for the best because this is the first action for me. What we went through yesterday was not easy, but hopefully it will be satisfying," said Omar. Daniel in South Jakarta, Monday, June 6th.

"It's definitely not easy. But keep on believing, yes. More trust in the process and also be patient. We practice self-defense. Then I hold arrows, so I have to learn archery," he continued.

Omar said he underwent archery training for one month. After learning archery, Omar realizes that it is not as easy as it seems. He even had bruises.

"You have to be patient. It's not as easy as it looks. It looks simple but it's not easy. Then it gets bruised and so on. But it's fun to do it," explained Omar.

However, after shooting the film "Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca", Omar admitted that he actually liked and was interested in the sport of archery.

"I became interested in archery until I finished shooting, I liked arrows. At first it was for practice, so it became a habit," said Omar.

Even though he had to shoot in the hot sun and in a pandemic situation, Omar was still happy and excited about shooting the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca. Omar is predicted to be the main player in the next film Satria Dewa: Arjuna.
