Universal Grand Palace, Disturbing Kingdom

JAKARTA - The Agung Sejagat Palace in the Purworejo area, Central Java, is busy being discussed on social media. Many have questioned whether the Keraton Agung Sejagat actually is.

The Keraton Agung Sejagat community is troubling. The two people who played the role of the king and empress of the palace were arrested by the police for the report.

They were Toto Santoso (42) and Fanni Aminadia (41) who were arrested by members of the Central Java Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate, Tuesday, January 14, at around 18.00 WIB.

Karo Penmas Div of Public Relations of the National Police, Brigadier General Argo Yuwono, confirmed the arrest of the two. Their arrests were based on residents' unrest over the existence of the Keraton Agung Sejagat.

"They are suspected of carrying out actions that are thought to cause confusion and unrest in the community," Argo told VOI when confirmed, Wednesday, January 15.

In addition, several items found during their arrest were used as evidence. Identification Cards (KTP) to fake documents related to recruiting members are one of them.

In fact, to date, dozens of witnesses have been questioned regarding their whereabouts and all matters relating to the Keraton Agung Sejagat.

"Already 10 people have been questioned as witnesses. They are residents of Pogung Village, Purworejo who feel restless because of the perpetrator's activities," said Argo.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police, Kombes Iskandar Fitriana Sutisna, added that the husband and wife who claim to be king and empress are being examined intensively. In fact, for their actions, both of them are currently charged with multiple articles. This is because they also found allegations of fraud.

"Two perpetrators were suspected of having committed acts of violating Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1946 and Article 378 of the Criminal Code concerning fraud," said Iskandar.

As information, Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1946 concerning; "Anyone, by broadcasting false news or announcements, deliberately publishing disturbances among the people, is punished by a maximum imprisonment of ten years"
