Jisoo And Kim Soo Hyun Reunite In Latest Korean Drama
JAKARTA - The Korean drama River Where the Moon Rises announced a number of players who confirmed their appearance, namely Ji Soo, Kim So Hyun, Kang Ha Neul, and Lee Ji Hoon.
Previously, the female lead was offered to Son Ye Jin. But he refused and Kim So Hyun was elected.
Ji Soo and Kim So Hyun will meet again in this project after the two of them starred in Page Turner in 2016.
River Where the Moon Rises tells a love story between Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) and On Dal (Ji Soo). This story is a classic Goguryeo folk tale.
Pyeonggang or Yeom Ga Jin is an ambitious woman who wants to become the leader of Goguryeo and she will use On Dal's feelings to achieve this.
On Dal is a kind man who always looks after Pyeonggang. While Kang Ha Neul plays On Hyup, On Dal's father who is the leader of the Sunnobu tribe.
Then there is Lee Ji Hoon who plays Go Geon, the perfect elite top brass. He has feelings for Pyeonggang.

River Where the Moon Rises is directed by Yoon Sang Ho, who is famous for his historical drama projects. The script was written by Han Ji Hoon who wrote Woman of 9.9 Billion.
