Bima Regent Reported To KPK Regarding Allegations Of Corruption In The Construction Of The Great Mosque
JAKARTA - Bima Indah Regent Dhamayanti Putri was reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He was reported by a resident of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Syahrul Riza regarding the alleged corruption in the construction of the Great Mosque of Bima.
"Our arrival today is to report the alleged corruption case in the construction of the Great Mosque of Bima, which according to the report of the results of the investigation by the provincial BPK," said Syahrul's attorney, Muhammad Mualimin at the KPK Merah Putih building, South Jakarta, Monday, June 6.
Apart from Indah, three other parties were also reported. They are the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bima Regency, Taufik HAK; Head of the Public Housing and Settlement Area (Perkim) Department of Bima M Taufik and President Director of PT Brahmakerta Adiwira H Yufizar.
After submitting his report, Mualimin said that the construction of this mosque was suspected of causing state finances of up to Rp. 8.4 billion. The party working on the project is PT Brahmakerta.
"The potential loss of Rp 8.4 billion in state finances is because the construction of the Bima Great Mosque was carried out by PT Brahmakerta Adiwira, whose main director is Yufizar, which in our investigation it turns out that this PT often works late on the project and he is repeatedly blacklisted," he said. .
"The total ceiling is around Rp. 78 billion more," he added.
Mualimin said the project, which should have been completed within a year, did not succeed. So PT Brahmakert asked for eight extensions.
"So there are many losses, one of which is sanctions, now it turns out that this PT has not received sanctions for eight times and is still being maintained," he said.
"Even though in 2019 this PT got a blacklist from the government review agency and apparently it was not taken into consideration why this PT was not removed, why is it still being used? While the track record is so bad," said Mualimin.
Regarding this report, the Acting Spokesperson for the KPK for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, said that his party would investigate further. "That's true (there is a report, ed). Next, we will review and verify the report in question," said Ali when confirmed.
This process is indeed carried out for every incoming public report. Later, the KPK will determine whether or not this report can be followed up.
