Steal 2 IPhone Passengers In Ngurah Rai Airport Toilet, This Man Was Arrested By Police
BADUNG - Mubinoto Amy (40) was arrested by the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Resort Police team in Bali. The perpetrators stole two iPhones belonging to passengers.
The perpetrator stole an iPhone in the toilet of the domestic arrival terminal of Ngurah Rai Airport, Badung, Bali on Thursday, June 2 in the morning.
"Currently, the person concerned is being held at the Airport Police Rutan," said I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Iptu I Kadek Supendodi, Monday, June 6.
The arrest of the perpetrator was based on a report by a victim named Roger Paulus Silalahi who claimed to have lost 2 iPhones.
"At that time, the victim had just landed at the Domestic arrival terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, then this victim went to the toilet to urinate while his two cellphones were placed on top of the urinal," he added.
The victim forgot the cellphone he put in the toilet. When he woke up in an online taxi, the victim rushed back to Ngurah Rai Airport. His 2 iPhones have also been lost.
The victim then reported this incident to the Ngurah Rai Airport Police. The police conducted an investigation and checked CCTV until the perpetrator was arrested based on the testimony of a witness who claimed to have seen a cellphone post on Facebook.
"Meet the witness who posted the cellphone (initials) WEI and explained that the (stolen) cellphone was shared via Facebook," said Supendodi.
