Anies Said, Formula E Racing Leaves No Pollution And Is Efficient At Work
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan wants the Formula E racing event to be a lesson in technology and efficiency for local officials in terms of organizing activities.
He made this statement while witnessing the process of moving and repackaging racing cars at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) by the organizers of the Jakarta E-Prix.
"This race car last night was immediately removed from the assembly and put in a box weighing 300 tons. And now it will be taken to a storage area, then it will be sent on June 9 to Morocco for the next Formula E event," said Anies Baswedan, quoting Antara, Sunday, June 5th.
On this occasion, Anies also helped ensure that a number of boxes containing the cars used for the race were packed properly.
"How efficient the work was done very well and the garage that was full of race cars yesterday is now empty and this will be a lesson for us," said Anies.
Anies added that the event organizers also adhere to the environmentally friendly concept, because Formula E is a race that puts forward the environmental paradigm.
"So how can a race leave no pollution, even for electricity generated from generators fueled by bio-diesel," said Anies.
It is known, Jakarta is hosting the electric car race or Formula E series nine which took place at the Ancol International Circuit, East Jakarta on Saturday.
Apart from Anies, President Joko Widodo also witnessed directly at the race location and fully supports Formula E as an environmentally friendly future racing event.
