Police Investigate Cases Of Use Of Stolen Marriage Books By ASN In West Sumatra
JAKARTA - The theft of around two thousand pairs of marriage books at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra) in 2017 was revealed.
This case involved civil servants at the Cooperative Industry and Trade Service with the initials R. This case was revealed after a report from the Pasaman Army member, Poniman, reported this case.
The West Pasaman Police, West Sumatra, is currently investigating this case. The investigation was carried out after the report was received.
"It is true, we received a report that found new evidence and we are currently investigating where the book was obtained," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Pasaman Police, AKP Fetrizal, at Simpang Empat, reported by Antara, Wednesday, October 21.
Poniman reported the case on Monday, October 19. The report was made together with another reporter, Itnawati, who found three marriage books with serial number SB 5663986 in green, serial number AH 0122637 in green and serial number AH 0122647 in brown.
One of the marriage books serial number SB 5663986 is suspected of being included in the lost marriage book at the West Pasaman Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion in 2017. The book was allegedly written and filled in by the person concerned R in his own name.
