Emmiril Kahn Is Considered Dead, But Ridwan Kamil And His Family Still Hope That His Eldest Son Is Found Safe

TANGERANG - Spokesman for the West Java (Jabar) Provincial Government, Wahyu Mijaya, explained about the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, who was trying to find his son into the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.

"Yes (going into the water) means that the governor did not only see and entrust him. But he also participated in the search process. But God has not yet brought Ananda Eril and his family together," Wahyu told reporters at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Friday, June 3.

Wahyu revealed that even though Ridwan Kamil had given up on the loss of his son Emmeril Kahn. He still hopes that his son is found, even if he is dead or alive.

"The biggest hope, regardless of condition, is that Eril's son is safe. If not, he can be found," he concluded.

Previously, Ridwan Kamil's brother, Erwin Muniruzaman, said that the disappearance of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or Eril in the Aare river, Bern, Switzerland had been accepted by the family.

Erwin said, Ridwan Kamil and Atalia believed that their eldest son, Eril, had died from drowning in the river.

"Kang Emil (Ridwan Kamil's nickname) and Teh Lia (Atalia's nickname) said that they were sincere and believed that Emeril Kahn Mumtadz, who we know as Eril, has died, returned to rahmatullah because he drowned," Erwin said in a West Java Provincial Government YouTube show, Friday, June 3rd.

Erwin said the family had coordinated with the West Java Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and decided to pray for Eril in occult prayers according to Islamic law.

"In this case, giving, fulfilling the rights of the late Eril as a Muslim from other Muslims, namely hastening to pray when he dies," he said.
