Central Java Deputy Governor Asks People To Dare To Report Illegal Charges
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen asked the public to be brave enough to report if they become victims or know of various forms of illegal levies.
"We will protect people who dare to report illegal levies with accurate evidence," said Taj Yasin Maimoen in Semarang, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 3.
According to the Deputy Governor, the protection given to whistleblowers will help open up illegal levies in the field.
The Deputy Governor also reminded government agencies or institutions to transparently provide detailed information on costs related to services to the public if the services provided are subject to tariffs so that there are no misunderstandings.
"If there really is a fee for obtaining a vehicle registration or other documents, please convey it to the public. How much is the amount? Thank goodness the deposit has already started using an account," he said.
Gus Yasin, as the Deputy Governor is familiarly called, the Central Java Provincial Government has provided various channels for the public to easily submit reports, ranging from web-based at laporgub.jatengprov.go.id, social media WhatsApp at number 081225911456, SMS at number 1193, and email laporsaberpunglijateng@gmail. com.
He hopes to socialize the number to the public so that people know where to complain.
"This is important, let's function the complaint service," said the Deputy Governor.
