Case Documents Of 4 Corruption Suspects In The Operation Room And ICU Project At The North Lombok Hospital Transferred To The Mataram District Court

MATARAM - The public prosecutor's team has transferred the case files and indictment of 4 suspects in the corruption case in the project to add an operating room and ICU at the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD) to the Mataram District Court, West Nusa Tenggara.

"Yes, so today the public prosecutor's team from the NTB Prosecutor's Office and the Mataram Prosecutor's Office handed over the case files and the indictment of 4 suspects in the ICU case at the North Lombok Hospital to the Mataram District Court," said spokesman for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efien Saputra in Mataram, Antara, Friday, 3 June.

He also confirmed that the public prosecutor's team was waiting for the determination of the trial agenda and the composition of the panel of judges from the Mataram District Court. "Possibly in the near future, the determination of the trial schedule will be out," he said.

The project for adding an operating room and ICU at the North Lombok Hospital was carried out in the 2019 budget year. This project cost IDR 6.4 billion of APBD funds.

Allegations of corruption arose because work was delayed and resulted in fines. This also resulted in a potential state loss of IDR 1.757 billion. This value appears based on the audit results of the North Lombok Inspectorate.

The suspect in this case is the former director of the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD). initials SH.

In his capacity in this project, suspect SH acts as a budget user attorney (KPA) who has been detained at the Mataram Class IIA Prison.

Meanwhile, three other suspects, namely the project commitment maker (PPK) with the initials EB, the supervisory consultant director from CV Cipta Pandu Utama with the initials DD, and the director of the project implementing company from PT Apro Megatama, from Makassar, South Sulawesi, the initials DT, are undergoing detention in NTB Police Detention Center.
