Stars And Rabbit Reveal New Single And Asian Tour
JAKARTA - Stars and Rabbit recently released a collaboration album with Bottlesmoker entitled Pieces That Fit. Monday, January 13, they announced a new single titled Little Mischievous. This song is taken from the Rainbow Aisle album which will be released in February.
This time, vocalist Elda Suryani recruited Didit Saad as a core partner in the album's creative process. Rainbow Aisle will be different from the previous album because of its creative process such as capturing the moments of the journey they have been on over the past few months.
They broadcast a video Behind The Scenes from the latest music video Little Mischievous which will be released January 22, 2020. The music video was directed by Agung Pambudi and depicts how Elda responds to Didit during the creative process on the new album Stars and Rabbit.
"I always wonder how far my creative mind can go with some shifts of paradigms. Apparently, it's like meeting the me I never knew in this album. And lucky me, Didit connects me to that wilderness. 'Little Mischievous' captures all that, "Said Elda in a written statement received by VOI.
The plan, in February they will also tour several cities in Asia, starting in Taipei February 20, then Tokyo and Busan. Until now, there is no further information regarding the schedule of other cities in Indonesia, it is estimated that they will close the tour series in Jakarta.
In November last year, the folk duo performed at the Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik. In the 21st edition of the festival, the duo led by Elda Suryani (vocals) and Adi Widodo (guitar) joined international musicians / bands such as Mac DeMarco, Of Monster and Man, Orville Peck, and many others.
Iceland Airwaves is a festival that is often held in winter. Since 1999 - which initially used an airplane hangar as a performance venue - it has now grown to use a lot of space in the city of Reykjavik such as a music shop, art museum, bar, church, nightclub and performance space.
