"This new villain is a monster in human form that more or less resembles the tradition of serial killers in various films," said Matt Duffer. “Since season one we wanted to have a villain who could actually talk to the characters in Stranger Things and could get inside their heads. This season the psychological horror side will be more pronounced, making Stranger Things more than just a regular monster series," added Ross.
Freddy Krueger's AppearanceRobert Englund, who played Freddy Krueger in 1984's A Nightmare on Elm Street, makes a special appearance in Stranger Things 4. He is depicted as a man who has a relationship with the monster Vecna who is against Hawkins' group.
'80s eraSteve (Joe Kerry) and Robin (Maya Hawke) are told to work at a video rental company called Family Video.
