The Impact Of Heavy Rain, A Number Of Roads In The District Of Ciracas, East Jakarta Inundated With Water

JAKARTA - Heavy rains that have hit the East Jakarta area since Tuesday, May 31, in the afternoon, have caused inundation in a number of areas in Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

Based on a report from the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., a 20 cm high inundation occurred on Jalan Kramat, RT 10/10, Kampung Pule, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District.

Then in front of the LRT Jalan Bridal Ali, RT 01/06, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District, a 30 cm high puddle of water also occurred.

Meanwhile, 15cm high inundation also occurred on Jalan Raya Ciracas, next to Pusdiklatkar, Ciracas Village, Ciracas District.

"The puddle of water on Jalan Kramat, RT 10/10, Ciracas Sub-district as high as 20 cm is gradually receding. We have deployed 2 personnel to the location. The water began to recede at 18:35 WIB," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head Gatot Sulaeman, Tuesday, May 31.

Furthermore, Gatot deployed 2 other personnel to deal with the puddles that flooded Jalan Bridal Ali, RT 01/06, Ciracas Village.

"The area of the pool of 4 x 20 m2 with a water level of about 30 cm had inundated residents' houses. The water had receded at around 18.30 WIB," he said.

Furthermore, puddles with a puddle height of about 15 cm on Jalan Raya Ciracas, next to Pusdiklatkar, Ciracas Village, are also gradually receding.

"The 15 cm high puddle has begun to recede since 18.35 WIB. Vehicles can still pass," he said.
