Bank Mandiri Collaborates With BPKP To Strengthen Local Government Financial Management Digitally
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk is said to have reached a cooperation agreement with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) to support the digitalization strategy of regional government financial transactions (Pemda).
President Director of Bank Mandiri Darmawan Junaidi said the synergy that was built was very important in supporting the government's agenda in the field of disbursement transactions for the Disbursement of Funds Order or SP2D.
"Bank Mandiri will prepare reporting services for the success of SP2D transactions on a daily basis," he said in an official statement on Tuesday, May 31.
According to Darmawan, this strategy is very effective in monitoring the local government budget properly and optimally for the benefit of the community.
"In line with Bank Mandiri's vision to become the main financial partner of choice for customers and the public with digital financial services, we continue to explore collaborative initiatives with various key stakeholders so that the company can be more present in the Indonesian people," he said.
On the same occasion, Bank Mandiri Director of Treasury and International Banking Panji Irawan said collaboration with BPKP and the regional government is in line with the company's products being developed.
"Bank Mandiri services will provide broad access to wholesale customers, including government agencies," he said.
Meanwhile, in this collaboration, Bank Mandiri will serve SP2D disbursement through the Kopra Host to Host (Mandiri Corporate Payable) channel which is integrated with the web-based Next-G Regional Management Information System (SIMDA) application owned by BPKP or better known as the Financial Management Information System (BPKP). FMIS).
This service will be equipped with features for validating the beneficiary's account, making ID Billing and paying taxes through the State Revenue Module (MPN) in real time with the best system security.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to this cooperation was signed by Deputy Head of BPKP for Supervision of Regional Financial Administration Raden Suhartono and Director of Commercial Banking Bank Mandiri Riduan in Jakarta, today.
