Wali Nagari Panti Deactivated By Regent Of Pasaman, West Sumatra Due To Unusual Findings Related To Nagari Funds Of Rp. 1.6 Billion
PASAMAN - The Regent of Pasaman, West Sumatra, Benny Utama, temporarily suspended the Wali Nagari (village head) of Panti, Panti District, Yefri Aldi, due to the findings of the local Inspectorate regarding the use of nagari funds worth Rp. 1.6 billion.
The decision on the temporary dismissal was signed by the Regent of Pasaman Benny Utama Number: 188.45/236/BUP-PAS/2022 on April 27, 2022.
"It is true, based on the special findings of the Inspectorate, the Wali Nagari Panti was temporarily dismissed. The value of the findings reached Rp. 1.6 billion," said Head of the West Pasaman Inspectorate Amdarisman as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, May 31.
According to him, temporary suspension for three months after the decision letter was issued. If the three-month wali nagari is able to complete the findings worth Rp. 1.6 billion, it will be reappointed as wali nagari.
"Completing the findings, they will be reactivated. If they are not able to complete within three months, they will be definitively dismissed and will be followed up according to existing rules," he stressed.
Amdarisman hopes that the nagari guardian can quickly complete the findings of the inspectorate regarding the use of the nagari government's finances.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Pasaman Community and Empowerment Service, when confirmed, also confirmed the temporary suspension or deactivation of the Wali Nagari Panti. According to him, the Wali Nagari Panti was temporarily suspended to complete the findings from the Pasaman Regency inspectorate.
"He was temporarily dismissed based on the findings of the Inspectorate regarding the use of nagari funds," he said.
Patrison said if the nagari guardian quickly completed the findings within three months, then his position would be reactivated to restore his good name.
"If it can be completed in a week or two, it will be reactivated because his term of office ends in December 2022," he stressed.
The temporary suspension, he said, was carried out so that the person concerned focused on finalizing the findings from the Inspectorate.
However, if it is not completed within the given time frame, the nagari guardian will be permanently dismissed.
In the Pasaman Regent's Decree regarding the temporary dismissal of the Wali Nagari Panti, it was stated that based on the results of the special inspection of the Inspectorate Number: 700/41/KHUSUS/INSP-2021 dated September 9, 2021, there were findings in the form of administrative violations and abuse of authority in the financial management of the Wali Nagari Panti government.
It was emphasized in the decree that at the deadline for the follow-up to the results of the examination and based on warnings 1 and 2, the nagari guardian did not follow up on the findings.
Then based on the provisions of Article 15 letter b number 7 Pasaman Regent Regulation Number 41 of 2017 concerning the implementation of follow-up on the results of guidance and supervision of local government administration within the Pasaman Regency Government, it is necessary to follow up with the temporary dismissal of the Wali Nagari Panti, Panti District for the 2016-2022 period.
