OnlyFans Founder Teams Up With Polygon (MATIC) To Launch Zoop . NFT Project

JAKARTA – Founder of OnlyFans, RJ Philips, is reportedly planning to enter the NFT industry. Philips recently announced the launch of an NFT card trading platform called Zoop.

It is planned that the NFT trading platform will run on the Polygon network and will be available for use by the public. Based on the official report, the new ecosystem will feature officially licensed digital cards from celebrities and influencers.

The project is the result of a collaboration between Zoop and various other media companies. Although initiated by the founders of OnlyFans, Zoop is not a Philips project alone. The platform will have the support of a team of experienced developers who have worked in Web3.

Zoop will enable the exchange of 3D digital letters from celebrities and influencers. RJ Phillips, founder and co-CEO of Zoop said that his platform will assist users in the card buying and auction process. He also pointed out that Zoop will be a "win for celebrities" and brands as it will bring new ways to interact with their fans and customers.

“Zoop is the trusted home for genuine celebrity card giving, enabling all fans, regardless of their technical expertise, to participate in the web3.0 space. We hold users' hands as they compete for digital collectibles in the auction process, show off their holdings to friends, and 'collect-to-connect' with their favorite celebrities today and tomorrow,” said Philips.

Another innovation that Zoop offers is that users will be able to earn rewards depending on their holdings. However, it is not known what kind of reward will be given in the Zoop ecosystem for now.

Meanwhile, Michael Blank as COO of Polygon Studios, said that they are "delighted" to work with the Zoop team, because this project is in line with Polygon's goal and mission to drive the use of Web3 to millions of people.

“We are excited to be working with the Zoop team as they build their platform on Polygon. Zoop is in line with our mission to bring Web3 technology to a much wider demographic, and enabling fans to connect to their favorite celebrities through Polygon is another step towards this goal," said Blank.

Even so, Zoop itself has not leaked the launch time of the project. On the other hand, Zoop announced that anyone who wants to participate in the platform's pre-launch can register at mint.zoopcards.com for priority tickets so they can buy NFT cards at Zoop, as summarized by VOI.id from CryptoPotato.
