Returning To The Village, Police With The Rank Of Brigadier In North Sumatra Arrested During A Sabu Party
MEDAN - Police officers were arrested by the Narcotics Unit of the Tebing Tinggi Police, North Sumatra (North Sumatra). He was arrested along with 3 of his friends during a meth party.
The Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police, AKP Agus Arianto, said that the police with the initials JVA (35) served at the Pakpak Bharat Police. Meanwhile, 3 of his colleagues who were also arrested, namely, HG (48), MSL (46) and ISS (37).
"That's right, the person has the rank of Brigadier General and is assigned to the West Pakpak Police. His village or his parents' house is in Tebing Tinggi," said AKP Agus, Monday, May 30.
AKP Agus explained that the arrest of Brigadier JVA started from information from the public who were suspicious of the activities of the four perpetrators at HG's house. Upon receiving this information, the police immediately launched an investigation and arrested the perpetrators.
"The four of them were arrested while they were in the back room of the suspect HG's house," continued AKP Agus.
When arrested, the police found 1 packet of shabu-shabu which was stored in a packet of instant noodles.
"From the arrest, evidence was found in the form of 1 plastic package of used fried instant noodles in which there was 1 transparent plastic package containing narcotics of methamphetamine. Then also found 1 device for smoking methamphetamine," he explained.
"During interrogation, it was discovered that the illicit goods belonged to the suspect HG," said AKP Agus.
Furthermore, the four perpetrators along with evidence of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 24 grams were taken to the Tebing Tinggi Police Narcotics Unit for legal processing.
"To account for their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics," said AKP Agus.
