Minister Of Religion Yaqut: 96.30 Percent Of Prospective Congregants Have Paid The Fee For Hajj 2022

JAKARTA - Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas reported preparations for the implementation of Ibadan Haji 1443 H/2022 AD in a working meeting with Commission VIII of the DPR, Monday, May 30.

The Minister of Religion revealed that of the 99,489 prospective pilgrims who departed from the Indonesian government this year, 96.30 percent had already paid off their regular and special pilgrimages.

It is known, the Hajj Travel Cost (Bipih) or the cost of regular Hajj in 2022 that has been agreed upon is IDR 39,886,009 per congregation.

"The total number of pilgrims is 99,489 (people), who have paid off 95,807 (people), who have not paid off 3,682 (people). So the total number of pilgrims who have paid is around 96.30 percent," said Yaqut in a working meeting with Commission VIII DPR, Monday, May 30.

Yaqut detailed, from a total of 92,825 people, as many as 89,715 prospective regular pilgrims have paid off. "So, as many as 3,110 congregants have not paid off or who have paid off are around 96.65 percent," he explained.

Meanwhile, there were 6,664 pilgrims who departed for the special Hajj pilgrims. Meanwhile, 6,092 people have paid off the costs for the special pilgrimage.

"Those who have not paid off are 572. Those who have paid off, the percentage is calculated at 91.42 percent," said Yaqut.
