Police Hunt Men Who Choke Their Own Babies In Makassar

JAKARTA - The Panakkukang Police Team, Makassar, South Sulawesi, is still hunting for a man with the initials IL who allegedly molested his own son. IL strangled her baby because she was influenced by alcohol (alcohol).

"Still being chased, the places where the perpetrators used to visit were also visited by members but the perpetrators were yet to be found," said Chief of Criminal Investigation of Panakkukang Iptu Police Iqbal Usman, contacted by VOI, Tuesday, October 20.

The boy was abused by his biological father while at his house on Jalan Pampang, Panakkukang, Makassar on Friday, October 16. The victim's grandmother saw IL was strangling her own baby.

This case was handled after the baby's grandmother who was being abused reported it to a neighbor when she saw that the baby was being strangled. After that, the family reported to the police.

"I'm not at home, but someone told me that your grandson was strangled there. When I came home, in the hallway I saw my son (the victim's mother) screaming, ”said the grandmother of the victim Kiki at the Panakkukang Police.

From the family report, the police handled the law. There were four witnesses who were questioned in connection with this persecution incident.

"At that time we took him to the hospital for post mortem and were given medicine, after which he was brought back home. The perpetrator is suspected of being influenced by alcohol, ”continued Iptu Iqbal.
