Chasing Drug Dealers To Riau: South Tangerang Police Secure 2 People With Evidence Of 6.3 Kg Of Methamphetamine Wrapped In Chinese Tea
TANGSEL - The South Tangerang Police (Tangsel) arrested two perpetrators with the initials MOF and MF. They were arrested on suspicion of trafficking 6.3 kilograms of methamphetamine (Kg). South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Sarly Sollu said the perpetrator was arrested in the Pekanbaru area, Riau, Tuesday morning, May 24.
Starting from a drug courier who was arrested in the jurisdiction of South Tangerang. Then the development was carried out until finally being arrested, MF on Jalan Garuda Ujung Tengkerang Tengah, Pekanbaru City, Riau.
"(Suspect MF) secured evidence of 1 (one) clear plastic wrap which contained methamphetamine with a gross weight of 2.49," Sarly told reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Monday, May 30.
Based on the confession, MF, continued Sarly, there was still evidence of methamphetamine in the MOF's rented house on Jalan Umban Sari Atas, Pekanbaru City, Riau.
"The team headed to the rented house and the team managed to secure the MOF suspect with evidence of 6 packs of Guanyinwang Chinese Tea Plastic," he said.
"It contained a clear plastic package containing methamphetamine with a total gross weight of 6,328," he added.
Sarly explained that the total amount of evidence that was secured from the two perpetrators was 6,330.49 grams or 6.3 kg.
For their actions, MF and MOF will be charged with Article 114 (2) and or Article 112 (2) UURI No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of capital punishment, life imprisonment or imprisonment for a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years.
