Asahan Police Mediates TikToker In Hijab Who Shows Off Sensitive Parts Of His Body

JAKARTA - The Asahan Police held a meeting with the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and Islamic organizations in this area to mediate a TikToker who went viral for making video content showing off sensitive parts of his body.

The woman who owns the TikTok account @babbyca666 apologized for her actions, according to a written statement from the Asahan Police Public Relations, Sunday quoted by Antara.

The Tiktoker apologized at a mediation meeting held at the Banquet Hall of the Asahan Police, North Sumatra Police.

During the meeting, he apologized directly to Muslims, his family, and the Marpaung clan association for his actions.

He also promised not to repeat the same act in the future.

Chairman of the MUI Asahan Regency H Salman Abdulah Tanjung appealed to the public and Islamic organizations, especially in Asahan Regency to accept the Tiktoker's apology. "It's no longer bringing problems to complex realms and legal processes," he said again.

Salman appealed to the public to use this incident as a whip and a warning, a lesson to always be careful and wise in using social media.

"Especially for him, in the future he can improve himself, and repent to Allah SWT," said the chairman of the Asahan Regency MUI.

Present at the meeting were Asahan Police Chief AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira represented by Asahan Police Deputy Commissioner Sri Juliani Siregar, Asahan Police Intelligence and Security Head AKP M Noor, Asahan District MUI Chair H Salman Abdulah Tanjung, Head of the Ministry of Religion Asahan, and Islamic Organizations from PP, HIMMAH, PMII, Al Washliyah, and the family of Riski Aulia Marpaung.
