Analog Pocket 1.1 Update Finally Coming In July For Beta Version

JAKARTA - The long awaited Analog Pocket 1.1 update is finally here in July.

On its announcement, Analogue posted a short blog on Friday, May 27, which said that Analog Pocket OS v1.1 [beta] is coming in July.

According to his blog post, the release of Analog Pocket OS v1.1 will include a beta version of the Libraries, Memories, and FPGA development features.

The Library will be a huge historical archive of retro games, while Memory will allow you to capture and load save states and capture screenshots.

The Analogue Pocket is a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based handheld game console designed and manufactured by Analogue, Inc. and has been announced since October 16, 2019, then released on December 13, 2021.

At the time of the retro handheld launch in December, Analogue told Polygon that the update would arrive in January, but now, the company is saying that the beta update will arrive six months later.

"We will continue to develop Analog OS periodically after OS v1.1 (beta) is released in July," concluded Analogue.
