The Outlaws 2 Film Sets A Record In South Korean Film History, Has Reached 5 Million Viewers
JAKARTA - The film The Outlaws 2 starring Ma Dong Seok and Son Seok Gu set a new record in the South Korean film industry. The film garnered 5 million viewers in less than two weeks.
According to the Korean Film Council, The Outlaws 2 reached 5 million viewers as of May 27. This film only took less than 10 days to lead the box office in the Ginseng Country.
In addition, this film is also the most watched film during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously there was Ashfall which was released in 2019 and passed the five million viewer mark.
As the name implies, The Outlaws 2 or The Roundup is a sequel that was released in 2017. Four years after the Garibong-dong operation. Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) and his team are back to eradicate crime.
In the first part, Ma Dong Seok collided with Yoon Kye Sang. In the sequel, the famous actor Son Suk Gu became his co-star.
Reportedly, the third film The Outlaws will collaborate with Ma Dong Seok and Lee Joon Hyuk. However, this news has not been confirmed by the production house that handles the film.
