After Revitalization, TIM Gradually Opens On June 3

JAKARTA - Ismail Marzuki Park (TIM) in Cikini, Central Jakarta will soon be reopened after being revitalized. The opening was carried out in the moment of welcoming DKI Jakarta's 495th Anniversary (HUT).

This news was conveyed by the Head of the Corporate Division of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Nadia Diposanjoyo. He said this opening was also part of a series of activities entitled 'Jakarta Celebration'.

"The area of the arts and culture center located in Cikini Raya, Central Jakarta will be opened in stages starting on June 3," said Nadia in a written statement quoted on Saturday, May 28.

"The opening of the TIM also welcomes the anniversary of DKI Jakarta," he added.

In the opening ceremony, there will be exhibitions of architecture to works of art such as paintings, sculptures, fabrics, mixed media, and others.

"Then there will also be film screenings, workshops, and discussions about fine arts," said Nadia.

To enliven this festival, PT Jakpro will later involve various parties, such as the Archives and Collections Commission of the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ), the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ), to a studio built by the DKI Jakarta Department of Culture and Sub-Department.

The various agendas, continued Nadia, will be held for one month from June 3 to June 30 from 09.00 WIB to 21.00 WIB.

"The TIM locations that will be used include the Long Building on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, the TIM Plaza Area, and the roof of the parking building," he said.
