"After receiving the report, we deployed 1 unit of rescue car accompanied by 6 personnel to evacuate the snake," said Gatot, Friday, May 27.
With the tools they have, East Jakarta Gulkarmat officers managed to evacuate the python. Evacuation starts at 23.18 WIB and ends at 23.25 WIB. There were no casualties or injuries in the incident.
"The snake has been successfully evacuated, 3 meters long and 15 centimeters in diameter. It's a python," he said.
Previously, a three-meter long python was also found in the residential area of Jalan Cipinang Bali I, Cipinang Muara, East Jakarta on Wednesday, May 25.
Based on amateur videos from residents, it appears that the python was successfully caught by residents when they were about to enter the sewers. The snake seemed to want to bite the residents who were evacuating.
But in the end, the residents managed to subdue the snake.
