Bengkayang Regent, West Kalimantan Emphasizes The Importance Of Early Childhood Education At The Indonesia-Malaysia Border
KALBAR - The Regent of Bengkayang, West Kalimantan (Kalbar), Sebastianus Darwis assesses the importance of bringing Early Childhood Education (PAUD) including to the Indonesia-Malaysia border area.
"Today I have inaugurated (PAUD) Bukit Henderson which is located in the border area or precisely in Jagoi Babang District. With this PAUD, it can become a strong foundation for education, especially in border areas. This is also in accordance with the current government's vision, namely Bengkayang's superior human resources are solid," he said when contacted in Bengkayang, quoted from Antara, Friday, May 27.
Darwis also expects the involvement of relevant stakeholders to support and realize quality PAUD and education in the future. on the other hand, he also asked all elements, from village officials and the surrounding community to participate in socializing PAUD in their environment.
"We want every parent to be able to send their children to PAUD. This is because basically the existence of PAUD itself is needed so that children are more prepared to receive education in the future. So of course, PAUD is also expected to be able to produce quality and superior human resources in Bengkayang Regency in future," he hoped.
The inauguration of the Bukit Henderson PAUD was also attended by Forkopimcam, Jagoi Babang District, Representatives of Bengkayang Regency DPRD Members, Head of the Bengkayang Regency Education and Culture Office, Secretary of the Jagoi Babang Sub-District, Village Officials, Pastor Pibi, Jagoi Babang District, and invited guests from elements of the community.
