According to the Twitter account data for film observer @ talkboxoffice, the KKN film in Penari Village first left the income of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness aka Doctor Strange 2.

Producer Manoj Punjabi is proud that the KKN film in Penari Village was able to break the Inpor film record. This means that Indonesian films have become kings in their own homes.
"Our target is not Indonesian films. We work together to get viewers, support each other to show that we can be the audience's first choice. We show that we can host in our own country," said Manoj Punjadi in Kuningan, South Jakarta, some time ago.
Manoj said he was satisfied not only because of the large number of spectators. But because this record was obtained during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I'm satisfied not only because this film is the highest-grossing film, but it's the highest-grossing film (which happened) during the Covid-19 pandemic. I'm even more satisfied, my best-selling can win from Doctor Strange 2. Indonesian films can win from Marvel, never before in history," he said.
“I know that in the future there will be another best-selling Indonesian film and I want that to happen. Hopefully from MD Pictures again. If it's from other people, it's okay. It's part of the competition. Above the sky is the sky, no problem," said Manoj Punjabi.
The popularity of the KKN film in Penari Village created a new phenomenon in buying tickets. Manoj is moved to hear that. War tickets, jastip, even queuing wearing helmets, even watching movies outside the city took place.
“That means, content that does the talking. And this is an Indonesian film, oh I'm proud and satisfied. Please, Indonesian films have high standards. It's no longer called Indonesian films for the lower classes. Jakarta's response was extraordinary," he concluded.
