FP1 Italian GP: Takaaki Nakagami Is The Fastest In MotoGP, Mario Aji Is In 8th Place In Moto3

JAKARTA - LCR Honda rider, Takaaki Nakagami, made a surprise during the free practice session (FP1) of the Italian MotoGP, Friday, May 27. Meanwhile Mario Aji carved satisfactory results in the Moto3 class.

Nakagami became the fastest rider in the Italian MotoGP FP1 which took place at the Mugello Circuit. He carved the fastest lap time of 1 minute 46,662 seconds.

The Japanese racer beat Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) who were 0.408 seconds adrift.

Meanwhile, Fabio Quartararo is in 11th position with a best lap time of 1 minute 47,393. He is only 0.010 seconds behind Luca Marini who is in 10th position.

Marc Marquez is worse off. The Repsol Honda rider took 19th place with 1 minute 47,875 seconds.

Mario Aji is Amazing

An extraordinary result was achieved by the Indonesian rider, Mario Aji, in Moto3. In FP1, the Honda Team Asia rider took 8th place.

Mario Aji had difficulty recording the best time at the beginning of FP1. However, a few minutes before the end of the first session, he managed to record a time of 1 minute 58,153 seconds.

The Magetan racer was 1.237 seconds adrift of the Italian, Denis Foggia, who recorded the fastest lap time.
