Gita Bhebhita Calls The Horror And Horrible Movie, Similar To His Life Story

JAKARTA - Comedian Gita Bhebhita Butar Butar feels that the character he plays in the film "Ngri Ngeri Sedap" is very similar to his personal life. In Horror Horror Sedap, Gita plays Sarma, the only daughter in Pak Domu's family who is Batak.

Sarma is called very family and obedient. The story of Sarma and Gita in real life, is not much different. Gita admits that she always obeys her parents' wishes, including taking care of her family.

"I relate because I'm close to my father. Because I'm the mouthpiece of the people, like Sarma, if there's a problem, I will convey it to Opung, to others," said Gita during the premiere of the film Horror Sedap at XXI Epicentrum, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 26 .

In the film, Sarma is portrayed as a child who does not dare to fight against his parents and harbors a personal desire to pursue his goals. In real life, the Gita is the same. Even though she never got a ban from her parents to pursue her dreams, Gita only dared to do it after her father died.

"I've never been asked to take care of my family, but I unconsciously did the same thing," he said, quoted from ANTARA.

"I postponed my dream until my family could stand and be safe without me near them. When papa left, I could only pursue my dream elsewhere," continued Gita.

The horror film tells the story of Pak Domu (Arswendy Bening Swara) and Mak Domu (Tika Panggabean) who live with Sarma (Gita Bhebita), eager to meet their three sons Domu (Boris Bokir), Gabe (Lolox), and Sahat (Indra Jegel) who has been wandering for a long time.

However, his three children refused to go home because their relationship was not harmonious with Pak Domu. Pak Domu and Mak Domu finally pretended to fight and wanted a divorce to get the attention of their children. This film will be available in all theaters in the country starting June 2, 2022.
