This Is Jokowi's Answer When Asked About The Performance Of His Son, Gibran Rakabuming, The Leader Of Surakarta

SOLO - Gibran Rakabuming Raka has assumed the position of Mayor of Surakarta for the past year. President Jokowi admitted that he did not pay close attention to the performance of his eldest son.

"Oops, I didn't follow. I have a lot of tasks and work to do," he said while visiting the Balekambang Park in Solo, Thursday, May 26.

Regarding all matters regarding Surakarta City, he requested that Gibran as the leader of the government in that area be asked directly.

"Ask the mayor, because the ones I follow are 514 regencies/cities and 34 provinces," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding President Jokowi's visit to Surakarta, Gibran said that he visited several locations, starting from Balekambang Park, Mojosongo Market, and Gede Market.

"After this visit Harjodaksino Market and Gading Market," he said while accompanying President Jokowi at Pasar Gede Solo.

He hoped that the assistance provided by President Jokowi during his visit to Surakarta this time could trigger an acceleration of economic recovery.

"What is clear is that traditional markets have started to rise again after the pandemic, it is hoped that with the help of President Jokowi, it can trigger (trigger) again the acceleration of economic recovery, especially for market traders and MSMEs," he concluded.
