Promoter Calls Java Jazz To Be The Biggest Jazz Festival In The World
JAKARTA - The Java Jazz Festival 2022 arouses the longing of the audience who is waiting for a festival format concert after the COVID-19 pandemic. The promoter also ensures that the concert will run smoothly.
"Seeing the progress so far is very happy. It's a kind of miss meeting," said Dewi Gontha as President Director of Java Festival Production at a press conference on Wednesday, May 25.
Elfa Zulham as Program Director even claimed that the Java Jazz Festival was the biggest festival in the world.
"After this pandemic, we will rise again. The line up is a lot for 3 days. In Asia itself, the Java Jazz Festival is arguably the largest. Just for the jazz festival," said Elfa Zulham on the same day.
According to him, Java Jazz has many stages reaching 10 and he has never seen it at other festivals.
“10 stages in one venue. I've never seen anything like it (here)," said Dewi Gontha.
Furthermore, Dewi ensures that the condition of the venue remains safe for the audience. This 90,000-person venue will be filled in three consecutive days.
“The current enthusiasm is beyond our expectations which means it's very good. Are people afraid of going to music shows, now it has been answered," said Dewi Gontha.
The Java Jazz Festival 2022 will present a series of Indonesian and foreign musicians. Some of them are Jojo, The Temptations, PJ Morton, Gabe Bondoc, Jakob Ogawa and many others.
