Megawati Reminds PDI-P Cadres Not To Be Lulled By Survey Results
JAKARTA - PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri reminded her cadres to continue to come down to meet the community. The survey results which place the party with the symbol of the white-snouted bull as the most elected should not make cadres off guard.
This was conveyed by Megawati when holding a virtual halal bihalal event attended by thousands of participants consisting of the PDIP DPP management and three party structures, Wednesday, May 25.
"Despite the survey results, placing the PDI-P with the highest electoral votes should not be the main guideline. Because that could weaken our fighting power," Megawati said as quoted from her written statement.
Cadres, continued Megawati, must also go down because the 2024 General Election (Election) will be more and more followed by young voters.
Not only that, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia also reminded the importance of maintaining discipline in all aspects in accordance with the wisdom of the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto before closing the gathering, quoted Megawati's message. He said that every cadre must have a fighting spirit.
Just like Megawati, she again reminded her cadres to never get tired of going out to the community. Don't let them get stuck in their comfort zone.
"Obviously, as party cadres, we must have a fighting spirit that is in the struggle, a spirit that continues to burn like a fire that never goes out. That's why all party members and cadres should not fall into a comfort zone. Victory is obtained through struggle, going down and down. mutual cooperation," he said.

Finally, Hasto spoke again about the implementation of the Second PDIP National Working Meeting. According to Megawati's decision, this activity will be held on June 21-23.
