Divided By 8 Groups, 2,903 West Sumatra Hajj Candidates Depart For Makkah 2022 Starting June 4

SUMBAR - A total of 2,903 pilgrims from West Sumatra (West Sumatra) will depart for the Holy Land in 2022. The thousands of pilgrims are divided into eight flying groups (kloters) departing from the Padang Hajj Embarkation starting June 4, 2022.

"It is scheduled that the first batch will depart on June 4, 2022 for the Holy Land. Until now, we are still finalizing the preparations for departure," said Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organization for the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra Province, Joben in Padang, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, May 25.

He said that currently the preparation of the members of the congregation has been completed.

"Considerations regarding the arrangement of the groups refer to the seats on the plane. If last year the lot was withdrawn, this year it is arranged according to the number of pilgrims," he said.

He explained that the first batch consisted of 393 people from the city of Padang, consisting of 385 members of the hajj pilgrims, two advisors from the Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group, two regional hajj officers, and four crew members including the group leader, worship advisors, doctors, and nurses.

The second group consisted of 393 people consisting of two regional hajj officers, four crew members, and pilgrims from Bukittinggi (113 people), Tanah Datar (111 people), Padang Pariaman (97 people), Pariaman (54 people), and Padang ( 12 people).

The third group consisted of 393 people consisting of two regional hajj officers, four crew members, and pilgrims from Agam (147 people), Limapuluh Kota (131 people), Sijunjung (66 people), Sawahlunto (30 people), South Solok (11 people). people), and the Mentawai Islands (2 people).

The fourth group consisted of 393 people consisting of one regional hajj officer, four crew members, and pilgrims from West Pasaman (165 people), Pasaman (133 people), Solok (81 people), and Padang (9 people).

Group V has 393 members consisting of one regional hajj officer, four crew members, and pilgrims from Dharmasraya (151 people), Payakumbuh (123 people), South Coast (56 people), Solok (48 people), and Padang (9 people). people).

Group VI includes 393 people consisting of four crew members and 389 members of the Hajj pilgrims from Bengkulu Province.

Group VII has 393 members consisting of four crew members and pilgrims from Bengkulu Province (358 people) and Padang City (31 people).

Group VIII consisted of 121 people consisting of pilgrims from Padang Panjang (35 people) and Padang (34 people), reserve pilgrims which included 51 people, and one officer from the Hajj and Umrah Worship Guidance Group.

Joben said that pilgrims in batches I to VII are scheduled to depart in batch I from June 4 to 10, 2022 and pilgrims from batch VIII will be flown in batch II departing on July 2, 2022.

"Kloter VIII will be flown together with UPG 19 from the Makassar Embarkation," he said.
