Socialization Of Hypertension Early Detection, Makassar Health Office Involve Posbindu Cadres
MAKASSAR - Makassar City Health Office involved Posbindu Cadres in socializing prevention efforts for hypertension.
The activity was attended directly by the Head of the Makassar City Health Office, Nursaidah Sirajuddin. The Kadinkes was the resource person in the meeting themed Socialization and Early Detection of Hypertension at the Novotel Hotel Makassar Grand Shyla.
In the presentation of the material, the Makassar Kadinkes said that non-communicable diseases (PTM) were the most common cause of death in Indonesia.
According to IHME (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) data, Global Burden Of Disease in 2019, 651,481 people died from heart disease.
"In addition to the heart, the highest mortality rate achievement was tuberculosis, digestive disorders. The agenda for socialization and early detection of hypertension is routinely carried out every year. In this activity, Posbindu cadres were present in all work areas of 47 Puskesmas in Makassar City.
This socialization is expected to be an extension of the government's efforts to suppress the prevalence of PTM disease in Makassar City, including hypertension.
"In addition to cadres, mapping of targets, and strategies for accelerating early detection, it is hoped that cadres will be able to carry out early detection campaigns, involving all elements, such as government offices, schools and the private sector later," he said.
