Buy Plane Tickets To Spain, This London Bartender Even Landed In Ukraine
JAKARTA - Inka Fileva intends to head to Valencia, Spain to visit her boyfriend who lives out there. However, he received an unexpected surprise when he arrived in another country.
The 30-year-old woman, who is originally from Bulgaria but lives in London, bought a Ryanair ticket for the 7:10 am flight to Valencia from Stansted Airport on Sunday, October 18. But things didn't go according to plan.
She shared the story on her Facebook account, explaining: "I am in Kiev right now !! Waiting at the airport and what's worse is that there is no Ryanair office here so everything is taking a long time to resolve!"
What a mission! Was going to Valencia and ended up in Kiev 😂 Has anyone mistaken their flight and ended up outside of the EU without even knowing 😂

I don't understand how my ticket was scanned and passed and how I came here without a visa. "
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online , Inka said: "It was very stressful at first, I didn't understand how my ticket was scanned and they let me go to Kiev.
"I flew in from Stansted Airport and I thought I was supposed to go to gate 44, and I ended up at gate 54."
However, this error was not corrected after Inka was about to board the plane. Ryanair's staff scanned his boarding pass and let him fly to Kiev.
"They checked my ticket several times, I even asked on what time the plane I would be arriving in Valencia, and they told me it would be two hours and fifteen minutes."
Since it was an early morning flight, Inka - who worked as a bartender - slept the whole way.
When the plane landed, Inka was terrified because she wasn't in Spain as soon as she saw the signs and writing at the airport and all the police looked different.
Meanwhile, Inka's boyfriend is waiting for him at Valencia airport, not understanding what has happened.
Inka detailed: "I was very scared when the police started approaching me, no one spoke English and they kept asking for my passport."
Inka started crying and went to the information desk for help. "Nobody knows how I got there and they keep asking for my ticket to Kiev."
"I keep showing them tickets to Valencia, they don't understand how this happened."
After waiting for a long time at the airport throughout the day, Inka praised the Kiev airport staff for being so helpful, they contacted Ryanair and arranged a flight back to England Monday afternoon local time, and another to Valencia at a later date.
Unfortunately, there was no Ryanair desk at the Ukrainian airport, which made it even more difficult, but he has since been taken by the airport to a nearby hotel.
However, of course Inka is not happy considering it took the airline six hours to sort its flights and hotels.
"I am a girl alone in a foreign country, thank God the airport staff are very understanding," concluded Inka.
Ryanair is Ireland's low-cost airline. The airline's headquarters are at Dublin Airport in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland, with its main operations base at Dublin Airport and London Stansted Airport.
