Jiwasraya Case: There Is A Pinisi Ship In Bira Sulsel Owned By TRAM Boss Heru Hidayat Who Prosecutors Require To Confiscate

JAKARTA - The owner of PT Maxima Integra Investama as well as the President Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera (TRAM) Tbk Heru Hidayat is required to be sentenced to life imprisonment and pay a replacement fee of Rp.10,728 trillion. Heru Hidayat is considered proven to have committed corruption in fund management and the use of investment funds at PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) which caused losses to state finances amounting to Rp. 16.807 trillion and money laundering.

In the description of the first indictment, the Attorney General's Office assessed that Heru Hidayat was proven to have received a profit of Rp10,728,783,375,000.

"The defendants Heru Hidayat and Benny Tjokrosaputro managed 21 mutual funds 'underlying' with 13 investment managers enriched with Rp12.157 trillion, so that each received Rp6.078 trillion," said the prosecutor at the prosecution hearing at the Corruption Crime Court, Jakarta, Thursday, 15 October night.

Heru Hidayat also received an additional profit of IDR 4,650,283,375,000 so that the total profit that Heru got was IDR 10,728,783,375,000.

This act enriched the defendant Heru Hidayat or other people, namely Benny Tjokrosaputro, Hendrisman Rahim, Hary Prasetyo and Syahmirwan or a corporation, which caused losses to state finances amounting to Rp. 16,807,283,375,000 as stated in the BPK RI Investigation Report.

In the second indictment, Heru Hidayat during 2008-2010 hid or disguised the origin of assets as a result of corruption in various ways.

There were new facts in the trial of the Jiwasraya case regarding the crime of money laundering and asset disclosure.

1. One unit of the Casa de Parco apartment type studio 811/118 in the name of Joanna Hidayat, having his address at Bumi Serpong Damai Raya, Sampora, Cisauk District, Tangerang, Banten.

2. Two units of Senopati Sweet apartment on the 6th floor, bedroom type in the name of Joanna Hidayat, having her address at Jalan Senopati number 41, RT 8, RW 2, Senayan, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta.

3. One unit of Toyota Alphard, white color number B 58 HIE under the name of Joanna Hidayat.

4. one unit of Ford Sscape Hayne 3.6 a / t in 2012 police number B 9 RTM on behalf of Retnowati Wiharjo.

5. One unit of the KLM Zanete 231 GT Pinisi ship Number 1005 / LL 9 number 4-72 L in the year of manufacture of 2019 belonged to the defendant Heru Hidayat through Fredy Gunawan at the port of Bira, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi.

6. One unit of Pakubuwono Signature apartment in the name of Retnowati Wiharjo, which is located at Jalan Pakubuwono 6, Jalan Ophir, RT 005, RW 01, Floor 9 number B 09 E Tower Basswood.

7. One unit of Pakubuwono Signatuer apartment unit Sandalwood number 51 D which is located at Jalan Pakubuwono 6, Jalan Ophir, RT 005, RW 01, Floor 51, Number 51 D Tower Sandlanwood on behalf of Retnowati Wiharjo

10. The Privilage Restaurant, which changed its name to Shu Guo Yin Xiang Restaurant, located at Senayan City Mall, 5th Floor, was owned by the defendant Heru Hidayat through Joanna Hidayat in 2018.

According to the prosecutor, these assets along with a number of other assets were suspected to have originated from corruption. "Because until the trial process was completed the defendant could not prove that the assets owned did not come from a criminal act of corruption," the prosecutor.

In addition, he is also suspected of disguising the proceeds of corruption that are used for gambling.

"The defendant Heru Hidayat placed money at Bank BCA with Giro account number 0827798979, dated 09/06/2017 to pay Rp4.87 billion for the RWS (Resort World Sentosa) casino. Prosecutors also said Heru Hidayat played casinos up to billions of rupiah.
