Pemprov Will Give Discount Flights, It's Time To Explore Amazing Tourism In South Sulawesi

MAKASSAR - South Sulawesi (Sulsel) has many recommended tourist areas to visit. In order to increase the level of tourist visits, the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) will spend IDR 5 billion in subsidies for flights.

This flight subsidy is given in commemoration of the 351th Anniversary of South Sulawesi Province on Monday, 19 October tomorrow.

The South Sulawesi Provincial Government provides airline ticket subsidies for residents in South Sulawesi who wish to plan trips to tourist areas. The South Sulawesi Provincial Government cooperates with Citilink airline in the framework of this cooperation.

"This is specifically for Citilink. If the demand is good, we will expand to other airlines," he said.

Citilink airline in this cooperation will be subsidized by the South Sulawesi Provincial Government on the flight route from Sultan Hasanuddin Airport (Makassar) to Buntu Kunik Airport, Tana Toraja.

There is also a subsidized airplane ticket with the Makassar flight route to H Aroeppala Airport, Selayar Islands. Then the Makassar route to Bua Airport, Palopo.

"So the provincial government will subsidize approximately Rp. 5 billion for flights from Makassar to Palopo, then Toraja, and Selayar," said Edi.

By granting this subdivision, flight tickets will be much cheaper than normal prices.

"What is certain is that there will be no more ticket prices above Rp. 400 thousand later. Currently, it is still in the range of Rp. 500 thousand to Rp. 600 thousand," he concluded.

Buntu Kunik Tana Toraja Airport

Buntu Kunik Airport in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) will soon be inaugurated. The inauguration of this airport is expected to be carried out by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
