Teachers Of SMA, SMK And SLB Compact To Central Kalimantan DPRD, Requests Gubernatorial Regulation Number 5/2022 To Be Revised Immediately
PALANGKA RAYA - A number of high school, vocational, and special education teachers from various regencies and cities came to the Central Kalimantan Provincial DPRD asking for the Central Kalimantan Governor Regulation Number 5 of 2022 concerning Provision of Additional Income for Civil Servants to be immediately revised.
The coordinator of the teachers who visited the Central Kalimantan DPRD, Nadi SP, said that his party wanted the Pergub to be revised immediately so that these educators could still receive additional income.
"The DPRD has accepted our aspirations and will convey them to the Governor. We hope that this can be fought for," he said in Palangka Raya, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 24.
One of the teacher representatives in a meeting with the Central Kalimantan DPRD, Sugih, explained the recommendations and demands of certified teachers, namely that the provincial government must revise the Governor Regulation Number 5/2022, especially Article 7 letter a and its attachments.
This is so that all PNS teachers with non-professional certificates and teachers with professional certificates get additional PNS income according to the provisions.
"Then Commission III of the Central Kalimantan DPRD is pleased to support the request for the Pergub revision," he explained.
With the additional income from the provincial government, it will increase the welfare of teachers so as to improve their performance in realizing the intellectual life of the nation.
Meanwhile, he presented a comparison between the Governor's Regulation number 5 of 2022 and the previous Governor's Regulation number 8 of 2021 regarding income allowances or TP for PNS.
Gubernatorial Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning Provision of Additional Income for Civil Servants within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, namely Article 1 point 9 that TP PNS is given to PNS for performance and welfare. Then all SMA, SMK, SLB teachers, as well as school administration staff receive TP-PNS with an amount of between Rp. 1.2 million to Rp. 3 million per month.
As for the Gubernatorial Regulation Number 5 of 2022 which is currently in effect, Article 1 number 10 states that the TP for PNS is given to PNS for performance and welfare. As for Article 7 additional income is not given to PNS teachers who have received certification allowances (that all teachers certified as SMA, SMK, and SLB educators cannot receive TP PNS from the Provincial Government).
Responding to this aspiration, the Chair of Commission III of the Central Kalimantan DPRD, Siti Nafsiah, said that her party had accepted and listened to the wishes of the teachers. "We have understood the substance of the teachers' wishes. We will immediately follow up," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office, Ahmad Saifudi, emphasized that the Gubernatorial Regulation No. 5 of 2022 regarding the Provision of Additional Income for Civil Servants is still being monitored and carried out properly.
Pergub 30 of 2016 concerning the Position and Organizational Structure as well as the Main Duties and Functions of the Central Kalimantan Education Office.
"So, I am standing there in order to carry out orders, policies from our leaders according to the provisions," he said.
What these teachers do, according to him, is part of democracy. He continued to respond to it calmly.
