JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran emphasized that he is not interested in becoming the acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta replacing Anies Baswedan whose term of office expires in October. Fadil prefers to be a member of the Police.

"I'm not interested, write it down," said Fadil at the Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, May 24.

Fadil is not interested in becoming the PJ Governor because there is still a lot of work to be done as the Kapolda Metro Jaya. Especially, to build a Jakarta that is without crime. "I still have a lot of homework to do to protect Jakarta," he said.

In addition, this two-star general is still helping the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo build the Bhayangkara Corps. So, the Police can become a better institution.

"I still want to help the National Police Chief to create a precise police, a better police," said Fadil.
