Housewives In Aceh Provide Child Prostitution Services
Meulaboh - Pidie Police, Aceh, detained three suspects suspected of being the perpetrators in the alleged prostitution crime involving minors, at the Sigli City Terminal Complex, Pidie.
Reported by Antara , Sunday, October 18, the suspects who are currently detained at the Pidie Police Headquarters, Aceh are Irena Fransisca Regalado alias Ririn (38), a housewife from Blang Paseh Village, Sigli City District, Pidie Regency, suspected of being pimps.
Then the perpetrators were suspected of being a sex lover, respectively Ikhwan alias Toke Salak (40), a trader from Gampong Raya Village, Lhok Kaju, Indra Jaya District, Pidie Regency, and Deni Imrayadi (26), a resident of Lamseupeung Village, Lueng Bata District, Banda Aceh City.
"We have arrested the three suspects because they are suspected of being involved in cases of child trafficking as well as sexual intercourse and obscene acts against children," said the Head of Pidie Police, Aceh, AKBP Zulhir Destrian accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Ferdian Chandra, Saturday.
According to him, the crimes allegedly committed by the three suspects have been going on for about three months from July to September, at the Integrated Terminal Complex in Sigli City, Pidie Regency.
"So the motive is that sex lovers come to pimps and then pimp to show child victims to be chosen by sex lovers," said the police chief.
Based on the development of cases of khalwat and ikhtilat as well as confessions of adultery, a new fact is found that a pimp is suspected of trafficking underage children to sex lovers, for a fee of Rp. 200 thousand to Rp. 500 thousand.
There were also victims who were suspected of being the targets of the trafficking, each named Mawar and Melati (not their real names).
For his actions, the police targeted the suspects with suspicion of criminal acts of trafficking in persons and criminal acts of sexual intercourse with minors.
This is in line with Article 2 of the Law on the Eradication of Human Trafficking and Article 76F Jo Article 81 Jo Article 82 Jo Article 83 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, said the Head of Pidie Police, Aceh, AKBP Zulhir Destrian said.
