Cuan IDR 88.7 Billion In 2021, Depot Of Buildings Owned By Conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko To Divide Dividends Of IDR 35 Billion
JAKARTA - The company owned by conglomerate Hermanto Tanoko, PT Caturkarda Depo Bangunan Tbk (DEPO), has agreed to distribute dividends from the company's net profit for the 2021 financial year of IDR 35 billion.
The decision was passed after the Building Depot held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Monday, May 23. The dividend this time is 39.42 percent of the total net profit obtained by the Building Depo in 2021, which is Rp. 88.7 billion.
In the company's official statement, quoted on Tuesday, May 24, the amount of dividends to be distributed is in accordance with the provisions of Article 20 paragraph 1 of the Company's Articles of Association. Furthermore, the Building Depot also allocates IDR 8 billion as a reserve fund, while the rest is included as the company's retained earnings.
The AGMS of the Building Depot also approved the use of the IPO funds allocated according to the prospectus. In 2021, the Building Depot collected total funds after deducting costs of Rp. 487.7 billion.
Of this nominal value, the company has used IDR 312 billion, with details of capital expenditure of IDR 10.7 billion, repayment of loans of IDR 41 billion, investment of subsidiary companies of IDR 201.3 billion, and working capital of IDR 58.8 billion. The remaining IPO funds were recorded at IDR 175.7 billion.
For information, the performance of the Building Depot was recorded to increase, especially from sales in the Lampung area which grew by 24.4 percent year-on-year in 2021, while online sales through WhatsApp social media also increased by 75 percent yoy in the same period. The company's net profit in 2021 increased by 3.81 percent yoy to Rp88.79 billion.
