Jayawijaya Regent: In Wamena Hospital, 1 Patient Can Be Delivered By 5 People, Rebuked Even Angry
JAKARTA - Jayawijaya Regent Jhon Richard Banua asked visitors or guests from patients not to interfere with services at the Wamena Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
John Richard Banua wants his residents to stop the habit of five people taking one patient to the hospital.
"One patient can be escorted by five people. This is one of the problems at the hospital and even that, if you are reprimanded, you will get angry, so I hope the public is aware that there are no more than one waiting visitor," said John Richard Banua, Tuesday, May 24, quoted from Antara.
Due to the large number of patient introductions, the cleanliness of the hospital environment is also difficult to regulate because residents throw garbage carelessly.
Jhon asked the hospital to clean the health facilities regularly every day.
"I ask the director to improve cleanliness at the hospital because our community is still lacking in awareness of cleanliness, they still eat betel nut and spit carelessly," he said.
The Regent said that from the inspections that had been carried out at the RSUD, various problems were encountered but the management of the Wamena Regional Hospital could solve it.
"After looking around the hospital, there are minor problems inside and I've asked the director to sort it out," he said.
