Left By Inarno Djajadi To OJK, Stock Exchange Appoints Hasan Fawzi As Interim Managing Director
JAKARTA - The process of selecting the board of commissioners for the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the period 2022-2027 also affects the organizational structure of several institutions. One of them is the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Inarno Djajadi, who is the President Director of the IDX, must resign from the position he has held since June 29, 2018. It is known that Inarno was elected and will be appointed as Chief Executive of the OJK Capital Market Supervision.
Automatically, with his term of office not yet over, Inarno resigned his position as IDX boss.
Then, who will replace Inarno at the top of IDX management? The answer: "Plt Director, Pak Hasan Fawzi," said Laksono Widodo, Director of Trading and Membership Management at the IDX, to reporters on Monday, May 23.
In fact, said Laksono, the appointment of Hasan as the Acting Director of the IDX does not require the approval of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGM).
For information, Hasan Fawzi currently serves as the Director of Development of the IDX in conjunction with the appointment of Inarno as President Director of the IDX on June 29, 2018.
Hasan started his career at PT Kliring Depositori Efek Indonesia with his last position as Head of the System Development Department (1993 – 1997), then joined the Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI) with his last position as Head of the Information Technology Division (1997 – 2008). Served as Director of Price Appraisal for Indonesian Securities PHEI (2008 – 2012) and President Director of KPEI for two periods (2012 – 2015 and 2015 – 2018).
"The composition of the IDX's board of directors since Mr. Inarno's resignation has remained the same. I was appointed as an interim official of the President Director according to the AD BEI and POJK mechanisms," Hasan said on the same occasion.
Hasan also said that all IDX directors will continue to carry out their duties and functions fully until their term of service ends.
