Ready? This Is The Main Plot Leak Of The Squid Game 2 Series From Director Hwang Dong Hyuk
JAKARTA - Director Hwang Dong Hyuk leaked the plan for the continuation of the second season of the Squid Game series. This globally successful series will continue and plans for release.
“Hwang (Dong Hyuk) only has three pages of ideas that he plans to turn into a script, so there's nothing to say other than lots of play,” reported Vanity Fair.
“Humanity will be the main focus of this game once again,” Hwang Dong Hyuk told Vanity Fair.
Previously, Dong Hyuk felt confused because of the pressure regarding the story of the second season of Squid Game.
“I have a story about Front Main (played by Lee Byung Jae) and his relationship with his younger brother, a police officer (Wi Ha Joon). Many people are curious about Gi-Hun (Lee Jung Jae) leaving at the end of the first season," said Hwang Dong Hyuk.
"I think I have an obligation to explain to the fans and I think that story is for a second season," he explained.
He explained that Squid Game 2 is planned to continue in 2023 or 2024. In addition, Lee Jung Jae is confirmed to be starring in the character Gi Hun.
Squid Game tells the story of 456 participants who take part in a game to win 456 billion won. But on the other hand, their lives are at stake in the competition.
Released in September 2021, Squid Game won numerous awards including Baeksang Arts and Critics Choice.
