Happy Forever, Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Married In Italy
JAKARTA - Celebrity couple Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker officially married by holding their wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy. The two each posted a photo of themselves at the altar via their Instagram accounts on Sunday, May 22, with the caption, "happily forever."
Kardashian wore a white corset mini dress and a floor-length veil with a giant Virgin Mary design on the side. Meanwhile, Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, wore a black suit. Both outfits were designed by Dolce & Gabbana, according to People Magazine.
The wedding was held at Castello Brown, a medieval castle overlooking Portofino Bay, TMZ reported.
The ceremony followed a "practical" marriage performed by an Elvis impersonator - without a marriage license - followed by a small ceremony with a marriage certificate in Santa Barbara, California.
The wedding was celebrated in Portofino, a seaside village known for its colorful houses and crystal green waters on the Italian Riviera coast.
Quoted from the Associated Press, Monday, May 23, photographers photographed the couple, along with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and Barker's daughter, Alabama. In the unveiling of her wedding dress, Kourtney wore a veil and a short black dress adorned with a Virgin Mary image.
In addition, there will also be a larger reception planned in Los Angeles, United States.
Barker and the eldest Kardashian sister officially announced their relationship earlier this year. Barker proposed to Kardashian in October, by the beach in a red rose ring and white candle at a hotel in Montecito, California.
Quoted from ANTARA, Kourtney Kardashian had a long previous relationship with Scott Disick, the father of three children. Barker has been married twice. His first marriage, to Melissa Kennedy, lasted nine months. His last divorce, from Shanna Moakler, occurred in 2008. They married in 2004 and have two teenage children.
