This Is The Reason The KPK Did Not Involve Dewas In Discussing Official Cars
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) explained that the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) was not involved in the discussion about the procurement of official official cars.
"This can be seen from the side of the KPK budget as a whole, which includes, among other things, the plan for the procurement of official cars. If then talk about this budget, the leading sector is in fact in the Secretary General," said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri during a press conference at KPK Building, Jakarta, Friday, October 16 evening.
He stated that the procurement of official cars has gone through a mechanism in the budget preparation process for 2021.
"Of course it has gone through a mechanism in the budget preparation process for 2021, including the implementation of the previous budget, how it is 'reviewed' and then evaluated, including then for further budget additions for 2021 which are not final because DIPA will be received in December. 2020, "he said.
Ali also explained that the KPK had submitted a budget proposal for 2021 of IDR 1.3 trillion to the Indonesian Parliament.
"Inside there are other components, one of which is the procurement of this official car," he said.
Previously, the head of the KPK Dewas Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean stated that his party refused to provide official car facilities.
"We from the adults have never proposed an official car for the adult. We do not know where the proposal came from, even if it is true that we have grown up refusing to give an official car," he said in a statement quoted by Antara , Saturday.
He said the KPK Dewas had been given a transportation allowance based on the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) on the income of the KPK Dewas.
It is known that the KPK finally decided to review the process of discussing the budget for the procurement of official cars for leaders, adults and structural officials within the KPK.
