Scholarship Fund In Mataram Allegedly Circumcised Rp2 Million, Prosecutors Collect Information From Students
NTB - The Mataram State Prosecutor's Team investigated the alleged circumcision of the Bidik Misi scholarship fund which was held at a private university in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
The head of the Mataram District Attorney's Office, Ivan Jaka, said that the investigation into the alleged budget cuts began with public reports.
"From this report, we collect data and information. Now it is included in a series of examinations," said Ivan by telephone in Mataram, quoted from Antara, Saturday, May 21.
In the report, the alleged cuts occurred in the disbursement of scholarships for the 2018-2021 period. The total value of the cuts is estimated to be in the billions of rupiah.
The prosecutor's investigation in the report was also monitored from the prosecutor's activities, Friday, May 21. A number of students from these private universities came before the prosecutor.
According to a student who did not want to reveal his identity, the campus has deducted Rp2 million from the Rp4.5 million nominal scholarship he should have received.
He also confirmed that this had been submitted to the prosecutor with proof of the completeness of the account book as a sign of receipt of the Bidik Misi scholarship.
